Your Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Spanish consumer protection law (Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), physically receive the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. an email) sent to:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the 14-day period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the initial delivery costs (except for any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us).
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day on which we receive the returned goods, or you supply evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.
We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction (refund via Stripe to your original payment method). No fees will be charged to you as a result of such reimbursement.
Return Shipping
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Condition of Returned Items
Returned products must be:
- In their original condition, unused and undamaged
- In their original packaging, intact and complete
- Returned with all accessories, protective materials, and documentation included with the original shipment
Important note on glass products: Our products are fragile handmade glass items. If you wish to return an item, please repackage it with the same care with which it was shipped to you. Items returned without adequate protective packaging that arrive damaged cannot be accepted for a refund. We strongly recommend using the original packaging materials.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article 103 of the Spanish Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 (TRLGDCU) and Article 16 of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Custom-made or personalised products — items that have been clearly made to your personal specifications or are clearly personalised (for example: custom colour combinations, personalised engravings, bespoke orders). [Art. 103(c) TRLGDCU]
Diminished Value of Returned Goods
In accordance with Article 108 TRLGDCU, you are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. If a returned item shows signs of use beyond reasonable inspection (for example, clear evidence of smoking residue, scratches from use, or physical damage caused by the purchaser), we may deduct the corresponding amount from the refund.
Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged on arrival, or does not match your order, please contact us at info@78glass.tips with photographs of the item and packaging.
For damage caused in transit we recommend contacting us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs, as this greatly assists us in pursuing a claim with the carrier. This is a recommendation, not a deadline — your rights under the 3-year legal guarantee of conformity remain fully applicable regardless.
In cases of defective or incorrect items:
- We will bear the cost of return shipping
- We will send a replacement or issue a full refund, at your choice
- We will arrange a convenient return method (for example, carrier pickup at your address)
Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Under Article 120 of the Spanish TRLGDCU (as amended by Ley 7/2022) and EU Directive 2019/771, consumers benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity of 3 years from the date of delivery. If a product proves to be non-conforming within this period, you are entitled to request repair or replacement. If neither is possible or disproportionate, you may request a proportional price reduction or rescission of the contract with full refund.
For defects appearing during the first 2 years after delivery, the product is presumed to have been non-conforming at the time of delivery (Art. 121 TRLGDCU). After those 2 years, the burden of proof shifts to the consumer.
How to Initiate a Return
- Send us an email at info@78glass.tips stating your order number and reason for return.
- We will confirm your return request and provide instructions.
- Ship the item(s) back to us securely packaged.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will process your refund within 14 days.
Order Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at info@78glass.tips. If the order has not yet shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund at no cost to you.
If the order has already been dispatched, the standard return procedure applies.
